Expedited Clinic Appointments for Patients with Cervical Myelopathy
To determine if your patient may have cervical myelopathy, follow the steps below, or the diagnostic flowchart found here.
STEP 1: Does your patient have any symptoms/signs associated with cervical myelopathy?
symptoms such as dexterity problems, numbness or parasthesia, or gait/balance problems that cannot be explained by other conditions
signs such as increased reflexes and/or increased tone in the extremities
STEP 2: Order an MRI
Does the report describe moderate/severe canal stenosis, cervical cord compression or cervical signal change?
STEP 3: Send in your Referral, including:
